The iPhone app, the keyboard, and the share sheet are still on the way. Everything below is what they will do: the web room does all of it today, on a phone browser included.

Your account
Sign in once
Continue with Apple, Google, or an email link: the same account as the web room. What you deliberately save is what follows you between them.

The draft
Say it out loud instead of typing it
A phone is where speaking beats typing. Say the whole thought: unfinished, annoyed, over-explained, and let the transcript be the messy draft.
Speech is transcribed on your device, not sent away to be heard.
Type or paste instead whenever you would rather.
The transcript is editable before anything is rewritten.

What comes back
Take one of three, straight into the thread
Exactly three versions, the middle one recommended. Copy the one you want and paste it where you were already writing.
Edit any version before you take it.
Copy out, or deliberately save it.
Nothing becomes a Saved entry unless you save it.

Beyond the app
Add the Tildi keyboard
The keyboard brings Tildi into the apps you already write in, so you do not have to leave a conversation to fix a sentence.
Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard.
Switch to it with the globe key while you are writing.
The keyboard sends only the message you deliberately submit.

Select the message that landed badly, share it to Tildi, and read the likely meaning next to the harshest one you already imagined.

What Tildi keeps
What leaves your phone, and what does not
Drafts, Second Read messages, Prepare plans, and generated versions are not added to Tildi’s application database, and nothing is used to train a model.
Speech is transcribed on your device.
Only a version you deliberately save becomes a Saved entry.
The keyboard sends only what you submit: never what you type as you type it.
