The question underneath every other privacy question is whether Tildi is quietly holding on to what you wrote. It is not, and this is the full answer, including the one part that leaves your device and what happens to it there.

The short answer
No, your drafts are not saved
Tildi does not add drafts, the messages you bring to Second Read, the plans Prepare gives back, or the generated versions to its application database. None of it becomes a record attached to you.
Drafts are not stored on Tildi’s servers.
Second Read messages and readings are not stored.
Prepare context and plans are not stored.
Generated versions are not stored unless you save one.

So where is it
Your unfinished draft is in your browser
It has to live somewhere, or closing a tab would lose your work. It lives on the machine in front of you, which is why it does not appear on your other devices.
Held in this browser, not on your account.
A different browser, or a private window, starts empty.
You can clear it yourself at any time.

The exception
A Saved entry is the one thing kept on purpose
Saving is the only way text becomes a record on your account, and what it records is the version you chose, not the draft you started from.
Created only when you save it. Nothing arrives there on its own.
It holds the chosen version. The draft is not part of it.
You can delete any entry, or all of them, at any time.

The honest caveat
What is sent away, and for how long
Tildi cannot return an AI result without sending the submitted request to a model provider. Rewrite currently uses OpenAI. Second Read, Prepare, and writing-voice learning currently use Anthropic.

Under standard API settings, OpenAI may retain inputs and outputs for up to 30 days; Anthropic automatically deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days. Provider-specific exceptions are set out in the Privacy Policy.
Both providers state that commercial API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models by default. Tildi does not submit this content through feedback or training-data features, and does not train a model on it.
Nothing is sent for a draft you never submit.

Why it is built this way
The promise only works if it is structural
Tildi is used for the messages people are most anxious about: resignations, apologies, boundaries with family. A tool that quietly kept those would be a liability rather than a help, so it does not keep them.
Not storing drafts is a design constraint, not a setting.
It is why drafts do not sync between your devices.
It is also why Tildi cannot show you a history of everything you have written.
