Tildi never trains on your writing, which raises a fair question about how it can sound like you at all. The answer is narrower than most people assume, and worth stating exactly.

The short answer
Your writing is never used to train a model
Not ours, and not our AI provider’s. Your words are used to write your message back to you, in that moment, and for nothing else.
No model is trained on anything you write in Tildi.
That holds on both plans, and on every surface.
It is not a setting you have to find and switch off.

The obvious objection
So how does it know how I write?
Free reads the message in front of it and uses Tildi’s natural human baseline; it does not remember a personal style. Unfold can learn from a small amount of material you supply on purpose.
A voice profile of categorical traits, like “medium sentences” or “semi-formal”.
The direction of your own corrections, such as shorter or more direct, as numbers and never words.
Up to three example messages you attach yourself.
Voice rules you write, in your own words.
The draft in front of it, which is the largest source of your voice by far.
The saved profile is attached to later requests only while Unfold is active.

The boundary
Samples are used, then discarded
Samples submitted to learn a profile are used for that request and not added to Tildi’s server-side writing archive. Examples and rules saved on iPhone remain on that device and are attached to writing requests only while Unfold is active.
Sample text is sent with the learning request and not retained in Tildi’s application database.
They are never stored as a server-side archive of your messages.
Removing an example on your device removes it from every future request.

What is not collected
Ordinary drafts are never treated as examples
Learning from corrections is learning from the difference between two texts, not from either text. A message you rewrote last Tuesday is not stored, quoted, or promoted into anything.
Drafts are never used as examples of how you write.
Generated rewrites are never used as examples either.
A meaningful correction records seven dimensions, each as less, unchanged, or more.
Saving, typing, navigating, generated output, and an untouched Copy never teach the profile.

What it costs you
What this trade actually means
A tool that kept everything would know you better. Tildi accepts being slightly less informed in exchange for not holding an archive of the most sensitive things you have written.
You may need to give it a good draft rather than rely on it remembering.
It cannot show you a history of everything you have ever written.
Unfold learns your habits more slowly than a tool that simply kept everything would.
What it can do is be used for a resignation letter without that letter existing anywhere afterwards.
