Saved is the only part of Tildi that keeps your words on purpose. This is exactly what goes into it, how to find something again months later, and what happens when you take something out.

What it holds

The version you chose, never the draft

Saved is the one place in Tildi where words are deliberately kept. What goes in is the finished version you picked: not the messy thing you typed to get there.

• A Saved entry is created only when you save it. Nothing arrives there on its own.
• The draft you started from is not part of the entry.
• Second Read messages and Prepare plans never go to Saved.

Putting something in

Saving a version

Save the one you are actually going to use, after any edits you made to it. An entry is a finished thing you might want again, not a bookmark.

• Save after editing, so the entry is the version you sent.
• Saving costs nothing: it is not an action against your allowance.
• You can save more than one of the three if you genuinely want both.

Getting it back

Finding something later

Saved has a search box that looks through the words you kept. It searches the text of the entries, so the phrase you half-remember is usually the fastest way back to one.

• Search for a phrase you remember writing, not for the intention.
• Fewer words match more entries: start narrow and widen.
• If nothing matches, the entry may have been saved on a device that was not signed in.

Across devices

What follows you, and what does not

Saved entries live on your account, so they are there on any browser or device you sign in on. Drafts do not sync, because drafts are not kept anywhere to sync.

• Signing in is what makes Saved cross-device.
• An unfinished draft stays in the one browser you typed it in.
• Signing out clears the browser. It does not touch what is on your account.

Taking something out

Deleting is immediate and has no undo

Removing an entry removes it from every device you are signed in on, straight away. There is no recycle bin and no way back, which is the honest behaviour for a place people keep sensitive words.

• Deleting one entry removes it everywhere, not just here.
• Clearing everything deletes every version you kept, on all devices.
• Both ask you to confirm first. Neither can be reversed afterwards.
